About Me
I am a senior at Emory University majoring to Film Studies and minoring in Economics. I am also a part of the Film and Media Management concentration with Goizueta Business School. I am an ambitious Emory filmmaker and storyteller seeking opportunities in the business of creative arts. I always knew I had a passion for film and television (who doesn't), but it was the summer I spent at Northwestern University as a "Cherub" with the National High School Institute concentrating in Film and Video Production when I knew I found my passion. Here I produced, wrote, edited, and directed my first ever short film MisFortune. I have since had the opportunity to work an many projects here at Emory; check out my portfolio.
Last summer I was priveledged to intern at Pinewood Atlanta Studios and was able to work with all the departments in the operations office and get my first real taste of the film industry. This was the perfect place for me after spending the the most incredible semester abroad in Prague. I had many adventures on my study abroad and formed lasting memories in the Czech Republic and across Europe. I took classes both at the CIEE study center and FAMU.
One of the neatest aspects about going to Emory and living in Atlanta is I am close to my family. I am born, raised, and educated in Georgia, a true Georgia peach!
Some of my favorite things include dancing and spending time with my family at Lake Hartwell. I've done ballet for 16 years and have continued here on campus with AHANA dance, the E-Motion dance team, and technique classes in modern, ballet, and jazz. On campus I am also involved with Camp Kesem, Delete Blood Cancer, and the Delta Phi Epsilon sorority. I am the current Member-at-Large for the Phi Lambda chapter of Delta Phi Epsilon. This means I oversee all planning and activities related to sisterhood and standards. My Involvement & Experience page goes into more depth on my involvement around campus as well as my resume.
